Chris Grieco joined Gravity Power in March 2009, and brings 19 years of technical and business management experience in power generation, renewable energy, energy storage and transportation. Prior to joining GP he served as Head of Technology for the principals of Dehlsen Associates, LLC, the founders of Zond Wind Energy and Clipper Windpower. Responsibilities included business planning, design engineering, intellectual property portfolio development and the building of collaborative technical relationships.

Chris spent 12 years with the Ford Motor Company in engineering and mergers and acquisitions prior to joining the startup world. He is a recipient of the Henry Ford Technology Award, the highest technical achievement for new technology commercialized within the Ford Motor Company.

Chris received a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. He currently holds one U.S. patent and has six patents pending.
