Smart Utility Partnerships: How Tucson Electric Power and the University of Arizona are Tackling Key Solar Issues and Maximizing Results.

Thursday, February 16, 2012 2:00pm - 3:00pm EST
Host: Solar Electric Power Association

Please join us as Tucson Electric Power (TEP) and the University of Arizona’s, Arizona Research Institute for Solar Energy (AzRISE) share their experience and results on selected solar research projects. Hear how this fruitful partnership is maximizing TEP’s support and producing solid results in a variety of areas including actual PV panel field performance. TEP will describe the utility’s participation and the multiple benefits being realized, including important ancillary benefits in the areas of stakeholder engagement and community outreach.

AzRISE will discuss a few of their projects at the TEP Solar Test Yard including field performance and degradation study results. Speakers will focus on the test field results, while also including other current (R&D, forecasting) and developing (energy storage) work being performed.

Webinar participants will have the opportunity to submit questions following the speaker presentations.

Utility webinar registrants will receive an extended “early-bird” special registration discount for the 2012 Utility Solar Conference (USC), where you will hear more from TEP! The pre-conference USC Solar Tour will include sites discussed on the webinar – and more! Information will be provided after the webinar.
